Arranging the craft room- III

Now you know how to decorate with binders and boxes, maybe it's time to show you another way to use paper.
Remember my son's first communion party at home? In case not, go here. I made several dishes, and for everybody's understanding I bought some ikea's frames,(a bargain!) and I wrote down the menu.

Bueno, ahora ya sabéis como decorar con cajas y carpetas, tal vez sea el momento de enseñaros otra manera de utilizar el papel.
Os acordáis de la fiesta que hice para la Primera Comunión de mi hijo mayor? Si no, aqui tenéis el link. Como hice varios platos, para que todo el mundo comprendiera lo que veía, compré unos marcos de ikea, baratísimos! y escribí el menú.

I had these frames running around my room, and finally I have find the way to reuse them.
So, take again a lovely paper ( did I ever talk you about my love to stationary, hahaha), and cut. Just introduce the paper in the frame, and .....

Tenía estos marcos dando vueltas por la habitación, y al final encontré que hacer para reutilizarlos. Hay que tener , otra vez, un papel bonito ( alguna vez os he hablado de lo que me gusta este tema? jajaja ) y cortar. Introduce el papel dentro del marco y...

And after following in this redo craft room, I am able to show you how the first part is done!!
Y después de seguirme en este cambio en mi habitación, ya os puedo enseñar la primera parte!!

Arranging the craft room- II

In the last post I talked about binders, and now it's time to talk about boxes.
I think the plastic ones are perfect to maintain and keep everything fine, but what I don't really like is that it shows you all the box contains.
En último post os hablé de carpetas, y ahora toca hablar de cajas.
Pienso que las de plástico son las mejores para guardar las cosas, pero lo que no me gusta de ellas es que se vé todo su interior.

Sometimes everything will be pretty placed, but normally and if you use it often, it won't be!
And that is my case!!
A veces todo está bien puesto, bonito.. pero si utilizas su interior muy a menudo, cuesta mucho mantener el orden , y éste es mi caso!!

B O X E S - C A J A S

So what I do is really simple, take a lovely paper or a good fabric (In this case, I take the same paper I've used in my binders)

Lo que hago es muy fácil, vuelvo a coger un papel bonito o una buena tela.( En este caso, cojo el mismo papel que utilicé para mis carpetas)

and I place it inside/ y lo coloco dentro

Can you see the difference!
Maybe I will stick some lovely labels, but at the time being, I love to see like these!
Véis la diferencia!
Tal vez le añadiré unas etiquetas bonitas, pero hoy me apetece dejarlo tal cual!


In case you have paper boxes, why not to cut a little paper and replace the one in label holder?
Si tenéis cajas de papel, porqué no substituiís el papel en el portaetiquetas con un trozo de papel bonito?

Arranging the craft room- I

Oh, yes and here I go again,with my lists and my order! And now it's time to order the craft room, because it's a must to do every year.
I'll show you some of my new changes and some DIY and ideas to do it in yours, in case you have...
One of the things I'm so proud to have is the IKEA EXPEDIT bookcase. It's clear, white, functional and pretty. So simple, but so lovely. I have the one of 4X4, but If I could I'll be buying the biggest one.
This is the place were I like to have my material, but also my inspiration notebooks.

Y si, ya estoy de nuevo con el orden y con mis listas! Y ahora le ha tocado a mi craft room.
Os enseñaré algunos de los cambios que he hecho y algunos tutoriales para que lo podáis hacer vosotras también.
Una de los objetos que estoy más contenta de haber comprado ha sido la estantería EXPEDIT de IKEA. Yo tengo la de 4x4, pero si tuviera el espacio, hubiera comprado la más grande.
Aqui es donde tengo bastante material, pero también mis libretas y carpetas llenas de ideas y de fotos, artículos,.... que me sirven de inspiración.

Well, the thing is I that I made the photo once I began to arrange .....

La verdad es que hice la foto una vez había empezado a ordenar....

You can see how I fill the bookcase:

Aqui podéis ver lo que utilizo en la estantería:

- binders/ carpesanos

- fabrics/ telas

- plastic boxes/ cajas de plástico

- paper boxes/ cajas de papel

- nutella jars/ botes de nutella

- magazines files/ revisteros de papel

- etc...

I need everything I have in its place, but I'd love to have it better. So let's go, want to follow me? Here are my rules:

Tengo todo lo que necesito en su lugar, pero me gustaría que estuviera mejor. Entonces, queréis seguirme en los cambios? Aqui tenéis mis normas:

Number one/ Número uno

The first step is to CLEAN, THROW and REUSE.

This is the worse part, because you need time and place, and you can go mad... You will need to remove and take away everything . Don't go so fast, you have all the time....

Be honest to you, don't keep everything, only what you really need!

El primer paso es el de LIMPIAR, TIRAR y REUTILIZAR.

Es la peor parte porqué necesitas tiempo y sitio para sacar todo lo que tienes y te puedes volver loca... No tengas prisa, tienes todo el tiempo.... y sé sincera contigo mismo, de verdad necesitas todo lo que tienes? Guarda lo que realmente utilices!

Number two/ Número dos

LOOK and STUDY the place you have and the things you have to put on.

MIRA y ESTUDIA el vacío que queda para saber lo que vas a poner en cada sitio.

Number three/ Número tres

BUY if you need ( but before that, try to find at home, children's room, kitchen... if something can be recycled and reused), boxes, binders, ....

COMPRA si necesitas ( pero antes busca en casa, cocina, habitación niños... si hay alguna cosa que puedas reciclar y reutilizar), cajas, carpetas...

Number four/ Número cuatro

PLACE everything in its place.

COLOCA cada cosa en su sitio.

Number five/ Número cinco

EMBELLISH and DECORATE it!!

DECORA y COLOCA las cosas bonitas!!

And here is where I want to show you some of my new changes

Y a continuación os voy a enseñar alguno de los nuevos cambios

B I N D E R S - C A R P E T A S 

I can imagine that all of you have it at home, mine are mainly white, blue and red. But if I don't want these colors, this is what I do.

Me imagino que todas vosotras tendréis en casa, en la mía la mayoría son blancas, azules y rojas. Pero si no me gustan estos colores, y puesto que voy a redecorarlo todo, esto es lo que voy a hacer.

I take a good and lovely wrapping paper/ Cojo un papel bonito y bueno

               

 and cut a part in order to put inside the plastic cover/ y le corto la parte necesaria para poderlo meter dentro del plástico que cubre la carpeta.

                

And , what happens If the binder doesn't have this plastic cover? A lovely masking tape will be the solution!

Y que ocurre si la carpeta no tiene el plástico? Pués una bonita cinta adhesiva será la solución!

Life happens

And the week has passed by, and every child has found his place! Marta has begun the kindergarden and she's so happy, and doesn't cry a lot...
Y la semana ha pasado, y cada niño ha encontrado su lugar! Marta ha empezado la guardería y está muy feliz, y la verdad no ha llorado mucho...

And so I am with my lists, trying to execute what I write, but realizing that It will take me more time that I have thought. And because is september and I love to say that this is the beginning of my year, I need to get organized and paper is one of my favorite resource! So, this is what I wanted, and this is what I found:

Y ya estoy de nuevo con mis listas, intentando hacer todo lo que he escrito, pero dandome cuenta de que me llevará más tiempo del que pensaba! Y como que es septiembre y me encanta decir que es el inicio del año, me estoy organizando y lo primero que necesito es tener papel a mano. Y si os dije aqui que es lo que me gustaba, esto es lo que he encontrado:

Our coffee machine was broken, it was old but made the best coffee! So, as we like coffee so much ( tea too) we decided to buy one that we could choose the coffee we wanted, and this is our new friend in the kitchen:

Nuestra cafetera se ha estropeado, era vieja pero hacía unos cafés maravillosos! Como que nos gusta mucho el café ( y el té también) hemos decidido comprar otra máquina donde podamos seguir escogiendo el café que nos gusta, y éste es nuestro nuevo amigo en la cocina:
